Flying by the seat of your pant burritoes


I found this recipe in a cook book I got for Christmas. It is definetly not gourmet but really good.

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 package Schilling's burrito mix
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 12 oz can refried beans
Tortillas

Place uncooked meat in skillet and and sprinkle the burrito mix on top of the uncooked meat evenly. (They say this is the key) No salt or pepper needed as the mix has plenty of sodium. Cook until done and drain the grease. Add tomato sauce and then bring to a boil. REduce heat, cover and simmer for at least 15 minutes but 30 is better. Add beans and bring back to a boil. Spoon into tortillas and eat. We added cheese. The possibilities of what to add are endless.
